ePaper, also known as "Electronic Paper Display", is a display technology that looks like paper with high visibility and contrast. The project uses ESP32 (low-power system-on-a-chip (SoC) microcontroller with integrated Wi-Fi and dual-mode Bluetooth) to drive the beautiful 7.5-inch ePaper display via the SPI protocol for displaying weather information from HKO and calendar events from Google. It automatically syncs information over home WiFi.
